Nose
Light, friendly nose with some fresh fruits, sweetness, cake and candy. In the background something that reminds me of bourbon.
Palate
Balanced, malty. Dry sweetness with fresh fruits (maybe the pear from the official notes). There definitely are some bourbon influences, not so sure about the sherry though.
Finish
Malty, sweet, with some mild burn. Lingers quite long and getting dryer as time passes.
Conclusion
For me this is a subtle whisky. It has complexity which is very nice to try and explore, it's just that the flavours are not so obvious and hard to distinguish from each other.
My first few drams where not so impressive but when i really took some time for this I quite enjoyed it.
