Nose
Sweet, fruity (peaches, apple-pear mash, some sweet berries), vanilla fudge, a bit of bitter almond, citruses and gentle woody notes
Palate
Slightly sweet, winey, a bit spicy (ginger), muesli with white chocolate flakes, gooseberry jam, lemon zest and woody tones at the end
Finish
Medium-long, sweetish, tad nutty, bubblegum notes, dried apples, soft wet oak
Conclusion
Really nice whisky: a typical Glenmorangie - very fruity and light. Not really complex but really quaffable (and you don’t really need complexity in this case). Fruits play the main role here and just a bit highlighted by a gentle oak. Nice balance, nice but somewhat short aftertaste. Really expensive nowadays.
