Nose:
Sweet and rich, woody, a lot of dried fruits - prunes, cherries, apricots, dark honey, maple syrup, cane sugar, blood oranges, with water gets lighter with flowers and vanilla notes, hint of banana
Palate:
Sweet, spicy, toasted oak, dark berry jam, orange peel, cane sugar, dried cherries
Finish:
Semi-long, drying fast, sweet, with berries and nuts (hazelnuts probably)
Conclusion:
Excellent whisky, very aromatic, pleasant but not very complex. Quite punchy on its full strength but getting milder and lighter with water. Quite heavy to be a summer dram but good for late autumn - winter season. Really expensive as for NAS but correspondingly of a really good quality
