Nose
Pleasant and surprising, hint of peat and cederwood with a bit of sulfur. A slight aroma of violets, citrus and nutmeg; nose like a farmyard after the rain, or outback country with dew. Waxy and miniral nose.
Palate
Fat and oily, peated, peppery, bit salty and full aroma. Fresh and fruity. Some traces of salt and metal. Balanced and not to sweet.
Finish
An interesting finish with polished malt tones, hinting towards lemon with a little remaining peat and some gentle spices.
Conclusion
Great product, full and rich with perfect balance between smoke and miniral flavours. Great drinking whiskey, but lacks the depth to be amazing.
