Note

Keshcorran is a 14 year old single malt whiskey finished in Hungarian Tokaji casks. As with all our First Editions it is limited to 6,600 uniquely numbered bottles, crafted and curated by Billy Waker. It tells the old Celtic Myth of King Cormac, the first great High King of Ireland

His birth is a thrilling, terrifying and redemptive tale of destiny and transformation. The son of Etani (Irelands most beautiful woman) and his doomed father King Airt, Cormac became a legendary monarch equivalent to an Irish King Solomon.

We pose the question; will you drink deep or just sip?

THE CRADLE OF KING CORMAC ULFADA

King Cormac was the first great unifying King of Ireland. His birth is a thrilling, terrifying and redemptive tale of destiny and transformation. Arising from a hasty wooing-episode involving his mother, Etani (Irelands most beautiful woman) and his doomed father King Airt., Cormac became a legendary monarch equivalent to an Irish King Solomon.

Blessed with ancient incantations at a sacred well under the caves of Keshcorran, as a new born babe he was snatched from his mother after a child-birth by a she-wolf under a sky of thunder and lightning to be raised with the Faelad or the Wolfing Fellows. Dubbed the Chariot Child, upon his arrival at Tara, largely unknown and derided, he would become the true Ard Rí or High King of Ireland and possessed the Testing Cup (a precursor to the Holy Grail). Keshcorran represents the shapeshifting tastes of the storied Tokaji desert wine. The spice of this fruitful story demonstrates glory can arrive, be it gilded or plain, whereupon such a great transformational potential asks have you the taste for the truth irrespective of how it arrives and, therefore, will you drink deep or just sip?.
