Nose

Honey and red berries then black pepper smoke

Palate

Intense heather honey, cranberries, touch of peach followed by bonfire ashes at the back of the throat

Finish

Spice, cinnamon and slowly fading wood ashes

The Bordeaux Cask Matured is our seventh release of Ballechin, and has been matured solely in first fill Bordeaux hogsheads. The barley used is peated to not less than 50 phenol parts per million.
