Bunnahabhain Cruach Mhòna
Review by Bunnahabhain
- Tasting note
The nose is crisp and lively, opening your mind to sweet peaty aromas, hay and herbal, burning grass with dry smoke and light creosol.
From here the tale takes us to a quite light, malty sweet and smoky with peaty seaweed and sea salt taste. All concluded with a finish that’s dry and smoky with spice and seaweed.
- Note
-
Cruach-Mhòna (pronounced Cru-ach Vhona) means peat stack in Scots Gaelic. Breaking with the Bunnahabhain norm of light peating, it’s different; something everyone should try.
