Aged wood and old books. Linseed oil and barrel char top notes, accompanied by nuttiness and cut grass.
More aged oak, citrusy and leafy. Cocoa, orange peel, sage, cardamom. A smooth and mouth coating body.
Very strong black tea alongside tingling spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, liquorice. Long and complex finish.
Cask Type: Bourbon Hogshead

- Tasted at:
- Fresh, grassy, lemon zest, vanilla, white pepper, green apple, some honey notes, light maltiness, floral notes with water
- Sweet, peppery, toffee dessert, malt, nuts (pecan), light bitterness, oaky tannins
- Medium-long, drying, oaky, malty
- Decent whisky but doesn't meet the expectations as for this age. Light and pleasant on the nose but quite simple and straightforward on the palate. Oak feels at every stage, actually not getting bad but a bit too much. Anyway the whisky is pleasant and easy drinkable, thus what else one can need? :)
