Fresh, butter cookies, yellow apples, hint of apricot, vanilla, sultanas, roasted hazelnuts, lemon dessert

A bit sweet, peppery, slightly malty, some sour berries, lemon zest

Medium-long, slowly drying, malty, woody, walnut shells

Quite a good single malt but I expected more to be honest. It was said it’s totally sherry-matured but I cannot really feel here sherry, maybe the casks were too exhausted. Anyway it’s nicely balanced whisky but too malty as for 18 yo.
