Geur:
Sweet, dried fruits, liquorice, some medicinal notes, leather, getting fresher after adding water
Smaak:
Sweet, peppery, caramelly, minerally, tones of berry jam, orange peel
Afdronk:
Long, sweet, nutty, marmalade and oaky notes
Conclusie:
I tasted it at the Uisge 2019 Finnish whisky festival. It is a nice whisky, quite complex and balanced as for 12 yo. This bottling is released to celebrate 100 years of Finnish independence but I doubt it is worthy enough for that. It's a good expression but just above the average, nothing really special. For the century of independence a way better cask could be selected.
