To make Orangerie we begin with great whisky. We use a soft, sweet blend of Highland single malt and single grain whisky from Fife. Secondly, we use only the freshest, highest quality oranges and top class aromatic spices. Importantly, we zest the fruit by hand and use only fresh zest in our infusion. Only the hand-zested peel of really fresh Navalino oranges gives you the lively, vibrant flavours that are the hallmark of Orangerie.

- Geproefd op:
- Oranges, oranges, oranges, green apple, some honey (haha, orange blossom noney?) notes
- Sweet, slightly oaky and peppery, orange soap (or Fairy?), touch of vanilla
- Medium-long, sweet, soapy, oaky with hint of clove
- I cannot call this drink a whisky but rather a whisky-based liquor. The nose is pleasant but very monotone - oranges and oranges and it's hard to see other notes behind them. The taste is really soapy (like if I had rinsed my mouth with orange Fairy detergent), with obvious oak influence. Orangerie probably might be a good cocktail base but definitely not a dram to enjoy by itself (at least for me)
