Kilchoman Loch Gorm 3rd edition
Review by Kilchoman
- Colour
Deep and rich.
- Nose
Soft, spicy and rich with light smoke dark chocolate and citrus fruit.
- Palate
Soft fruits and peat smoke with a rich sweet finish.
- Finish
Long and sweet, lingering smoke, well balanced.
- Note
-
The lastest annual Loch Gorm release is a vatting of fresh Oloroso butts and hogsheads
filled in 2009 and 2010. The addition of whisky matured in smaller sherry hogsheads increases the influence from the casks and gives the whisky a striking intensity and richness.
