The Dalmore 62 year old The Drew Sinclair
Review by The Dalmore
- Nose
Honey, soft fruits and heather.
- Palate
Orange, chocolate and marzipan.
- Finish
Almonds and soft spices.
- Note
-
An expression created by Master Distiller Richard Paterson as a tribute to Andrew ‘Drew’ Sinclair, who was Distillery Manager for many of his 40 years at The Dalmore.
As expected with a prized exclusive expression, the price to own such an exclusive rarity is exceptionally high. The Drew Sinclair was sold in 2011 for an astonishing £125,000. This made it the most expensive bottle of whisky ever sold in retail.
