Arran Original
Review by Arran
- Colour
Hebridean Sunset.
- Nose
Fresh pear and honeysuckle followed by rich vanilla sweetness. With water some briny notes appear softened by milk-chocolate, orange citrus and subtle mint-toffee.
- Palate
Fresh & zesty on the palate with apple and capsicum merging with Crème-brûlée. The fruity notes drift off the tongue leaving a clean and tangy mouth-feel, rinsed by delicate marine notes.
- Finish
An elegant and graceful Arran that delivers balance between subtle fruitiness and a delicious mineral aftertaste.

-
From the only Distillery on the Isle of Arran we bring you the lighter side of The Arran Malt. The Original has been matured exclusively in American Oak barrels and bottled at 43% rather than our normal strength of 46%. This edition of The Arran Malt has been specially created by our Master Distiller, James MacTaggart, to emphasise the delicious sweet-fruity notes which are the hallmark of our Distillery
