- Colour
Light rose gold.
- Nose
Candied fruit, rich red wine notes balanced with a peppery smokiness.

Sweet, rich and mouth coating - almost layered, with the rich fruit and wine influence of the Rioja wine with subtle notes of citrus and orange, developing into a sweet peppery smokiness.
- Finish
A sweet, lingering, smoky finish.
- Conclusion
A deliciously sweet, rich mouth coating - almost layered - whisky, with sweet fruity wine and subtle notes of citrus which develop into a sweet peppery smokiness. Sit back and savour.

Finished for the first time in Rioja red wine Hogsheads, this gorgeous rose gold 15 Year Old Ledaig balances rich, fruity flavours with the peppery smokiness our peated Single Malt is known for.
Coming from the Rioja region within the Basque country of Spain - where wine has been produced since the time of the Phoenicians and the Celtiberians - these Hogsheads have given our whisky a distinctly rich and fruity flavour.
After spending 13 years in whisky refill barrels, our Senior Blender - Dr Kirstie McCallum - identified the spirit as having the perfect flavour profile to work well with Rioja red wine casks. In 2016, for the first time in our history, the peated Ledaig was transferred to Rioja Hogsheads and left to finish for a further two years.
