Springbank 12 year old Cask Strength Batch 7
Review by Springbank
- Nose
Initially this whisky has a lovely rich creaminess which ends on a salty note. Stewed pears can also be identified, with peat smoke appearing at the tail end.
- Palate
This is pecan pie in a glass. The cask influence is clear in the oak, spices, nuts and marzipan that you taste. It’s a really oily & salty dram on the palate.
- Finish
Wow! What a mouth coating dram. A long, dry, tingly, tangy finish with some liquorice.
