The Dalmore 33 year old 1979 cask 1093
Review by The Dalmore
- Colour
Copper black toffee with an aurora amber gold.
- Nose
Notes of allspice, rolling tobacco, pear drops and espresso coffee give way to dark fruits, sweet black treacle, marmalade, cracked pepper and rich sultanas.
- Palate
Toasted pistachios, ginger syrup, moist fig cake and Seville oranges, tempered by vanilla, bitter chocolate, pecan pie and liquorice. Muscatel, nutty toffee, Demerara sugar and caramelised pineapple provide the perfect aftertaste.
