Colour

Deep, rich amber.

Nose

Full, spicy fragrance and dry fruity aromas with a subtle sweet oakiness.

Palate

Deep, sweet spicy and soft fruity flavours are enhanced with a dry nuttiness and rich oakiness.

Finish

Lingering smooth spiciness.

Note

Hand selected from The Glenlivet cellar by Master Distiller Jim Cryle. He then finished the 1983 whisky in American oak and French Limousin oak casks. Limousin oak casks from the Dordogne region of France us renowned for bringing flavours to wine and cognacs.
